Dr. Njeri Kamau

Occupational Health Sciences — Faculty lead

Dr. Njeri Kamau directs ICEOHS industrial hygiene rotations across Nairobi factories, flower pack-houses, and cement plants. Formerly with Kenya’s environmental regulator, she now mentors students designing exposure monitoring plans aligned to Kenyan occupational exposure norms and DOSH directives.

Her research consortium links heat-stress physiology with productivity metrics along the Thika corridor, publishes guidance on pesticide mixer–loader controls, and partners with unions to prioritise participatory risk mapping on construction sites serving the capital.
